Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cipriano Valle started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Márcio de Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. After recieving a nice pass, Hunters Heisz's Artur de Souza tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Thiago de Moraes fired away a free kick at goal. It was hit a tad too hard, and went over the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hunters Heisz's goalie and right to Angelo Baptista. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hunters Heisz's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Hunters Heisz's Jefferson Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago de Moraes in the 25th minute of play. Reinaldo Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Hunters Heisz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jefferson Penha should have stopped the shot. Jefferson Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 65 minutes, Cipriano Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DC UNITED FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thiago de Moraes got free with Jefferson Penha in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jefferson Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernani Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Cipriano Valle rounded Hunters Heisz's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3.
