Comercinho FC's Maicon Vasconcelos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Isaltino Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaltino Medeiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Comercinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaltino Medeiros. Valdomiro Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Lauro Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Comercinho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lauro Vianna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Pedro Augusto Félix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Paulo Paraibano in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 53 played minutes Comercinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Vasconcelos. In the 58th minute, Lauro Vianna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Augusto Félix was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Comercinho FC made a substitution. Paulo José Marinho replaced Samuca Aguiar. Uz Federais's João Pedro Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hudson Monteiro in the 64th minute of play. Paulo José Marinho struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. João Pedro Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comercinho FC. Paulo José Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Many of Comercinho FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Comercinho FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Uz Federais were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
