Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Impávido Galcölosso EC's Fausto Arruda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Diego Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Jefferson Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Paulo Damião in the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Hunters Heisz getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ernani Cosme hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, João Paulo Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot. Impávido Galcölosso EC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Paulo Damião was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jefferson Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Hunters Heisz got a freekick which was hit by Lino Barral. 29 minutes into the match, Hunters Heisz's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Arruda came free, but Jefferson Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jefferson Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Arruda in the 31st minute of the match. Erasmo Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With his leg Doctor Sócrates managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Hunters Heisz's Carlos Vasconcelos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 40 minutes of play, Impávido Galcölosso EC's João Paulo Damião made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jefferson Penha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute Lino Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doctor Sócrates saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Impávido Galcölosso EC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Barral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Vasconcelos in the 56th minute of play forced Impávido Galcölosso EC's goalkeeper Doctor Sócrates to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paulo Damião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jefferson Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play, Impávido Galcölosso EC's João Paulo Damião made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jefferson Penha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute Fausto Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Pedrinho Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, João Paulo Damião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Arruda in the 84th minute of play forced Hunters Heisz's goalkeeper Jefferson Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, João Paulo Damião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jefferson Penha made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when João Paulo Damião sent off a good shot on target. After 95 played minutes, Hunters Heisz's Gustavo Teles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Doctor Sócrates came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hunters Heisz reached it. Impávido Galcölosso EC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
