Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aírton Sabóia kicked off to start the match. If Cristian Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aírton Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Penha having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hunters Heisz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio Esportivo Brasil the free kick. A collision led to Hunters Heisz getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Pedrinho Cardoso hit a great ball. Wanderson Koehler didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Hunters Heisz's zone, Cristian Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson Penha came out of the goal and Cristian Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Barral in the 26th minute of play forced Grêmio Esportivo Brasil's goalkeeper Wanderson Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Barral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Vasconcelos got free with Wanderson Koehler in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Barral made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Lino Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Lino Barral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wanderson Koehler. Grêmio Esportivo Brasil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Barral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 67th minute Lino Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wanderson Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Barral in the 73rd minute of the match. Hunters Heisz's Jefferson Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Sabóia in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hunters Heisz's zone, Cristian Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson Penha came out of the goal and Cristian Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Penha having to interfere. In the 81st of the match, Aírton Sabóia tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jefferson Penha got in the way and made a wonderful save. Aírton Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Wanderson Koehler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Barral's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Délio Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Grêmio Esportivo Brasil's Aírton Sabóia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jefferson Penha. Jefferson Penha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. When Aírton Sabóia came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Grêmio Esportivo Brasil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aírton Sabóia couldn't finish the play. Cristian Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grêmio Esportivo Brasil were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
