Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Caio Eger started the match with the kick off. Pedrão Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Perez in the 4th minute of play. Pedrão Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Monteiro in the 6th minute of the match. Pedrão Cardozo came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Sapora's Caio Eger. But to his dismay, Caio Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Everest FC's Pedrão Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Eger in the 13th minute of play. Pedrão Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Everest FC's Pedrão Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Eger in the 24th minute of play. If Ricardo Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caio Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Sapora's Adrianinho de Mendonça got a free kick in the 35th minute. Leandro Urbano made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ricardo Barreto sent off a good shot on target. When Ricardo Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Everest FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Barreto couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dênis Machado to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sapora's goalkeeper Leandro Urbano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dênis Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Urbano having to interfere. Ricardo Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ricardo Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Urbano having to interfere. In the 70th minute of the game, Ricardo Barreto landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 70 minutes into the game, one of Sapora:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pedrão Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Eger in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Toscano during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Everest FC's Richard Toscano got a free kick in the 84th minute. Dênis Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Urbano having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
