Valdemar Veloso hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paraíba in the 30th minute of play forced MENGAO 99's goalkeeper Isidoro Clemencin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, MENGAO 99's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Martins came free, but Isidoro Clemencin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Favoretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wágner Secco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Favoretto ran back to his position shaking his head. Douglas Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Wágner Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Isidoro Clemencin made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when José Paraíba sent off a good shot on target. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gian F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
