After having played for 22 minutes, Horácio Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horácio Guimarães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Germano Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Nando Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beco's Igor Prado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Campestre. Campestre's Nando Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Lucas in the 35th minute of play. Nando Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlinhos Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Waldemar Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campestre. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeu Valle got free with Waldemar Coelho in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waldemar Coelho made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Tadeu Valle sent off a good shot on target. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Horácio Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Beco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Guimarães couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Tadeu Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campestre's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeu Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tadeu Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute.
