Ludogorets United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nando Zonta made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Celsinho Andrade sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, one of Ludogorets United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ludogorets United. Sidney Gonçalves shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Carlinhos Alcântara hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Carlinhos Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. Ludogorets United's Dorian Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nando Zonta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celsinho Andrade's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Ludogorets United's Celsinho Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorian Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Dorian Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ludogorets United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorian Furtado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlinhos Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ludogorets United's Wesley Gonçalves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Ludogorets United from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the game, Kiko de Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ludogorets United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campestre the free kick. A collision led to Ludogorets United getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Kiko de Almeida hit a great ball. When Tadeu Valle came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Campestre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeu Valle couldn't finish the play. Wesley Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Alcântara in the 91st minute of play. Nando Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Furtado in the 93rd minute of play. Celsinho Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ludogorets United had played much better football throughout.
