In the 2nd match minute, Ludogorets United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that José Pedro Veiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wesley Gonçalves was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 9 played minutes Valralla.F.C got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Veiga. In the 10th minute, Dorian Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celsinho Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Wanderson Damião made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Dorian Furtado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wanderson Damião. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. A collision led to Valralla.F.C getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. José Pedro Veiga hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Valralla.F.C's zone, Almir Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wanderson Damião came out of the goal and Almir Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celsinho Andrade came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wanderson Damião could save by the left post. Carlos Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If José Pedro Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almir Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Délio Saraiva in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wesley Gonçalves saved Ludogorets United from getting behind. Délio Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Wesley Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Ludogorets United's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Prata came free, but Wesley Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Ludogorets United got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Bertassi. After 43 minutes of play, Valralla.F.C's Elder Fernandez made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wesley Gonçalves was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorian Furtado made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Valralla.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Furtado came free, but Wanderson Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, José Pedro Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Arí Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valralla.F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Arí Carioca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wesley Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arí Carioca was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, one of Valralla.F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Valralla.F.C. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Veiga in the 65th minute of play forced Ludogorets United's goalkeeper Wesley Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Gonçalves having to interfere. Valralla.F.C's Délio Saraiva pulled a muscle in his back after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Valralla.F.C made a substitution. Pedro Luís Massa replaced Délio Saraiva. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ludogorets United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Travassos during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Travassos hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Wesley Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When José Pedro Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Valralla.F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Pedro Veiga couldn't finish the play. Ludogorets United's Wesley Gonçalves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Ludogorets United from getting a goal against them. Pedro Luís Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Gonçalves having to interfere. The supporters of Valralla.F.C booed when Ludogorets United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Gustavo Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Elder Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valralla.F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elder Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pedro Luís Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ludogorets United's Wesley Gonçalves got control of the ball when José Pedro Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line.
