Spectators: 6400 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Orlando Lucas made the kick off which started today's match. When Juarês Furlan came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Capeta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juarês Furlan couldn't finish the play. Covas FC's Váldson Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Lucas in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Covas FC's Luís Fernando Eger got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Covas FC's zone, Orlando Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Váldson Neto came out of the goal and Orlando Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Capeta FC booed when Covas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fernando Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Váldson Neto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cristiano Rosa. After a rather tough play, Covas FC's Luís Fernando Eger got a free kick in the 17th minute. Instead of passing the ball, Cristiano Rosa made a really hard long shot towards goal. Covas FC's Váldson Neto realized he got lucky when he saw the ball passing the outside of the left post. Juarês Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Váldson Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Lucas in the 26th minute of play. Juarês Furlan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Váldson Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Romário Britto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Covas FC and the Capeta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Romário Britto hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Capeta FC's Orlando Lucas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Váldson Neto. Váldson Neto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Cristiano Rosa shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romário Britto to strike the kick off in the second half. Váldson Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Luís Fernando Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Gilmar Rosado hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Covas FC defense, Orlando Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Váldson Neto. The Covas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Váldson Neto should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Lucas in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Váldson Neto saved Covas FC from getting behind. If Orlando Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romário Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Juarês Furlan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Váldson Neto. Covas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juarês Furlan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Furlan in the 89th minute of play forced Covas FC's goalkeeper Váldson Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Capeta FC booed when Covas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Váldson Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juarês Furlan took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Váldson Neto. Váldson Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Capeta FC had won after a very even match.
