Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jairo Paraíba kicked off to start the match. Amadeu Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Furlan in the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Capeta FC's Reginaldo Vianna got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Capeta FC's zone, Jairo Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Pombal came out of the goal and Jairo Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jardel Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Pombal having to interfere. Jairo Paraíba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dida Pombal having to make a save. When Frank Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capeta FC's protests and gave Frank Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. Orlando Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Mangueira having to interfere. If Orlando Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juarês Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diguinho Santos's late challenge caught a Capeta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diguinho Santos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Muricizal EC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Diguinho Santos hit a great ball. Juarês Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jairo Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jardel Mangueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dida Pombal having to make a save. In the 41st minute of the match Cristiano Rosa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeu Mangueira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Frank Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capeta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Mangueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jardel Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Dida Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Lucas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Capeta FC booed when Muricizal EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juarês Furlan struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Amadeu Mangueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capeta FC. Muricizal EC's Jardel Mangueira got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jardel Mangueira in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Pombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Capeta FC's zone, Jardel Mangueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Pombal came out of the goal and Jardel Mangueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jairo Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Capeta FC defense, Jairo Paraíba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Pombal. The Capeta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Pombal should have stopped the shot. Juarês Furlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Amadeu Mangueira made a huge save. Jairo Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Paraíba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dida Pombal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Betão Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Capeta FC's Dida Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Paraíba in the 82nd minute of play. Orlando Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Amadeu Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juarês Furlan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Amadeu Mangueira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Muricizal EC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Régis Pitta hit a great ball. Muricizal EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
