Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Paraíba to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sílvio Luís das Neves in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Diego Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuma's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Prado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Mangueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jardel Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Torres having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Paraíba in the 79th minute of play forced Fuma's goalkeeper Doni Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doni Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Paraíba in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute Sílvio Luís das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fuma booed when Muricizal EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fuma fans cheered their team off the field, for while Muricizal EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
