An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Prado in the 17th minute of play forced Formos's goalkeeper Doni Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Luís das Neves struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Doni Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fuma. Formos's Doni Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís das Neves in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Diego Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Vianna in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Fuma getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Kléber Koehler hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Reinaldo Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Netto charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Netto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reinaldo Vianna to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Pedro Luiz Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Diego Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Prado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reinaldo Vianna hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Diego Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Formos's Doni Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Prado in the 81st minute of play. Doni Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Prado in the 83rd minute of the match. Sílvio Luís das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sílvio Luís das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Fuma's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Fuma may have spent more time on the ball, but Formos were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
