If Luís Gustavo Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elói Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Alexandre Gonçalves made a huge save. Campinense F Clube's Elói Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alexandre Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Legião Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Luís Gustavo Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Claudinho Seco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavinho Mandrak in the 76th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Gustavo Nogueira during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Campinense F Clube booed when Legião Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position.
