With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elói Vale in the 18th managed to get into a good position. Dieguinho Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The attack was good, but when Elói Vale in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in Goiás Futebol Clube's zone, Elói Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dieguinho Lopez came out of the goal and Elói Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Reis couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Conrado Reis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dieguinho Lopez. That made the score 0-3 in the 57 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ismael Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campinense F Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dieguinho Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The long shot by Jonas Travassos in the 71st minute really tested Dieguinho Lopez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Reis in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dieguinho Lopez saved Goiás Futebol Clube from getting behind. Maurício Cavalcante hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With his leg Dieguinho Lopez managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Campinense F Clube's Elói Vale fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elói Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieguinho Lopez having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Goiás Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Dieguinho Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elói Vale. When the final whistle sounded Campinense F Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Goiás Futebol Clube.
