Noturno FC's Augusto Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Sergipano in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Brimos Futebol Club's Bebeto Tetradze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Chaves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Bebeto Tetradze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute, Diogo Sergipano made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Chaves. Noturno FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Diogo Sergipano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Augusto Chaves. That made the score 7-0 in the 30 minute of play. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Diogo Sergipano sped through Noturno FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Augusto Chaves. Noturno FC's Augusto Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Noturno FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Noturno FC's Adalberto Barbosa got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The long shot by Cássio Porto in the 44th minute really tested Augusto Chaves's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 47th minute, Horácio Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Porto struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Augusto Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brimos Futebol Club. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edu Simões made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Diogo Sergipano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Chaves was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Augusto Chaves came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Brimos Futebol Club's Diogo Sergipano. But to his dismay, Diogo Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Sergipano in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Chaves saved Noturno FC from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Noturno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Sergipano came free, but Augusto Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brimos Futebol Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cássio Porto in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Noturno FC defense, Bebeto Tetradze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Chaves. The Noturno FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Chaves should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the game, Brimos Futebol Club's Bebeto Tetradze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Diogo Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brimos Futebol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Diogo Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Brimos Futebol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Sergipano couldn't finish the play. After 92 minutes of play, Brimos Futebol Club's Otávio Neto made it 15-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute Otávio Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Noturno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lenílson Pernambucano came free, but Augusto Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Brimos Futebol Club fully deserved thier win.
