The Hard Rock fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Paulo Brito should have stopped the shot. Hard Rock's Luiz Paulo Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Meireles in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Manuel Meireles took a quick shot and it went in 0-15 without a chance for Luiz Paulo Brito to make any attempt to save it. Brimos Futebol Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
