Brimos Futebol Club's Manuel Meireles got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Brimos Futebol Club. Cássio Porto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Chicão Recife. 0-3. Alexandre Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Chicão Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Tetradze, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute.
