Hard Rock's Luiz Paulo Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Travassos in the 23rd minute of play. Delfim Ferreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo José Batista having to make a save. Luiz Paulo Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Delfim Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fama SC's Paulo José Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo José Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Ferreira in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 minutes, Arlindo Linares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hard Rock and the Fama SC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
