The supporters of Hard Rock booed when Noturno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Noturno FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Frederico de Moraes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Noturno FC's zone, Delfim Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Chaves came out of the goal and Delfim Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Marcel Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delfim Ferreira in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute, Frederico de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Noturno FC booed when Hard Rock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlindo Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hard Rock's zone, Edu Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Paulo Brito came out of the goal and Edu Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delfim Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Chaves having to interfere. Augusto Chaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delfim Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Delfim Ferreira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Augusto Chaves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Noturno FC's zone, Arlindo Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Chaves came out of the goal and Arlindo Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frederico de Moraes took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Paulo Brito. Luiz Paulo Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A hard shot by Jeremias Paraibano from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Augusto Chaves's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Hard Rock's Delfim Ferreira got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Frederico de Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Paulo Brito. Hard Rock's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Noturno FC's Edu Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frederico de Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Paulo Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Frederico de Moraes scored 0-4 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Paulo Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the game, Frederico de Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Luiz Paulo Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 74 minutes into the match, Edu Simões dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luiz Paulo Brito, 0-6. Frederico de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Brito having to interfere. Luiz Paulo Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frederico de Moraes in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Noturno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Falcão came free, but Augusto Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Chaves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delfim Ferreira went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. If Jairo Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes, Hard Rock's Arlindo Linares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Augusto Chaves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hard Rock reached it. In the 97th minute of the match Jeremias Paraibano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Chaves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Noturno FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
