Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Noturno FC's Edu Simões started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Edu Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Edson Salles fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Noturno FC's protests and gave Edson Salles a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Noturno FC! In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Geada SS. Horácio da Silveira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Augusto Chaves. 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Geada SS's Evandro Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Chaves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Geada SS booed when Noturno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Evandro Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geada SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Mané Esteves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Chaves having to make a save. Durval Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Edu Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Pernambucano having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luizinho Fontes during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Noturno FC got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho Fontes. When Evandro Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Geada SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evandro Godoi couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Edu Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leandro Mendes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Noturno FC's Marcel Lopes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Geada SS's Miguel Pernambucano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Geada SS from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Evandro Godoi hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Edu Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Simões in the 58th minute of the match. Augusto Chaves came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Geada SS's Mané Esteves. But to his dismay, Mané Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 82nd match minute, Noturno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Arantes to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Marcel Lopes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miguel Pernambucano. Geada SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Noturno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Godoi came free, but Augusto Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Noturno FC's Adalberto Barbosa got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Evandro Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Noturno FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Geada SS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
