Barragem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiaguinho Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Furlan in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, All Castilha's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Paraíba came free, but Cássio Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barragem's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jailson Furlan 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Júlio Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Barragem's Tiaguinho Munhoz got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jailson Furlan made a kick off. Barragem's Zé Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Passos in the 51st minute of play. Tiaguinho Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Lara having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, All Castilha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Marques to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Tiaguinho Munhoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barragem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jailson Furlan couldn't finish the play. Zé Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Furlan in the 89th minute of the match. All Castilha's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
