Remo Palmeira's late challenge caught a Piau AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juninho Sanches acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Noel Meirelles. After 96 played minutes Piau AD got a freekick which was hit by Noel Meirelles. The Team name fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Piau AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
