Valdomiro de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes Manicobal got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Koehler. Valdomiro de Castro was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Cauan Trevisan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cauan Trevisan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A collision led to Lupercio SC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Rubinho Urbano hit a great ball. When Telmo Soeiro fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lupercio SC's protests and gave Telmo Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Telmo Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Hortêncio Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Anselmo Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manicobal. Hortêncio Mineiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Benedito Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Mendes having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Hortêncio Mineiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Anselmo Mendes to make any attempt to save it. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lupercio SC's goalkeeper Anselmo Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hortêncio Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Anselmo Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Manicobal's Hortêncio Mineiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Mendes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donato Alagoano scored 2-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdomiro de Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute of the match Durvalino Furlan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anselmo Mendes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Enrique Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Manicobal's Hortêncio Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hortêncio Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Anselmo Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cauan Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Hortêncio Mineiro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Anselmo Mendes, passed just outside the right post. 96 minutes into the game, Dedé Eger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manicobal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lupercio SC the free kick. Dedé Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Lupercio SC could leave the field as winners, despite Manicobal having more of the ball for most of the match.
