Fabrica's Kléber Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Souza in the 11th minute of play. With 13 minutes on the clock, Charles Neiva commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Fabrica. Raúl de Toledo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kléber Veloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Raúl de Toledo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 28th minute. If Raúl de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléber Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raúl de Toledo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Raúl de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kléber Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Fabrica getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Paulinho Maranhense hit a great ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raúl de Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anselmo de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Antunes in the 57th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Raúl de Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kléber Veloso was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piau AD reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raúl de Toledo in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kléber Veloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olavo Salles got free with Anselmo de Godoi in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Piau AD were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fabrica for a fine match.
