Blumenkranz's Luiz Fernando Braga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jorginho Linares in the 4 minute of the game. If Cafu Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blumenkranz's João Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Blumenkranz from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guto Couto in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrado Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Amorim in the 16th minute of play forced Blumenkranz's goalkeeper João Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Penha in the 18th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Penha scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conrado Luz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27thth minute of the game Carlos Eduardo Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Contenda-Pr's Conrado Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conrado Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Eduardo Penha went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Carlos Eduardo Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Conrado Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Penha in the 37th minute of play. Conrado Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. João Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Luz having to interfere.

Carlos Eduardo Penha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado Luz having to make a save. Guto Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Conrado Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Guto Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70th play minutes Carlos Eduardo Penha shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Conrado Luz and just under the crossbar into goal. 76 minutes into the match, Contenda-Pr's goalkeeper Conrado Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Eduardo Penha. If Guto Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Leandro Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blumenkranz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doni Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Conrado Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nelsinho Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Luz having to interfere. Conrado Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guto Couto's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. João Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Hoffmann in the 92nd minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Penha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Conrado Luz made a huge save. 96 minutes into the match, Contenda-Pr's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Couto came free, but Conrado Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blumenkranz played a much better game than Contenda-Pr and deserved their victory. The Contenda-Pr players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
