The All Castilha fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when All Castilha's Carlos Augusto de Barros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All Castilha's Cássio Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Amorim in the 10th minute of play. Cássio Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Favoretto in the 12th minute of the match. If Bernardinho Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardinho Passos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Conrado Luz came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardinho Passos slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. 30 minutes into the match, Egídio Favoretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio Lara. All Castilha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egídio Favoretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 33rd minute Cafu Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardinho Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Luz having to interfere. Carlos Augusto de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Conrado Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Augusto de Barros was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. All Castilha's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cássio Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Amorim in the 44th minute of play. Bernardinho Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Bernardinho Passos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Júlio Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. All Castilha's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, Edgar Mangueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Júlio Gonçalves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado Luz having to make a save. Clóvis Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Conrado Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Passos in the 63rd minute of play. When Jailson Furlan came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the All Castilha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jailson Furlan couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Carlos Augusto de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Clóvis Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jailson Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilson Amorim hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Evaristo Ribeiro in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by All Castilha's Júlio Gonçalves. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardinho Passos in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrado Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Egídio Favoretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Cássio Lara made a huge save. Júlio Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Conrado Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Jailson Furlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The All Castilha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. All Castilha's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
