Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Fábio Magalhães to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro Proença in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Eduardo Trancoso saved Funorte Esporte Clube from getting behind. 53 minutes into the match, Funorte Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Lara came free, but Luís Eduardo Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Luís Eduardo Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Eduardo Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Zinho FC's Gustavo Lara in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
