Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Severo in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amauri das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomé Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Sagui MZ's Amauri das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Vinhas in the 15th minute of play. Tomé Paraíba hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Leopoldo Severo came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ibaretama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Severo couldn't finish the play. Samuca Salles's late challenge caught a Sagui MZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuca Salles helped the player get up and apologised. When Conrado Bertassi came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sagui MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Bertassi couldn't finish the play. In the 28thth minute of the game Luiz Guilherme Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sagui MZ's Amauri das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th match minute, Sagui MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Leopoldo Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amauri das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Vinhas in the 42nd minute of play. Ibaretama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sagui MZ the free kick. Leopoldo Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Luiz Guilherme Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Severo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Amauri das Neves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ramiro Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Bertassi in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Leopoldo Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leopoldo Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri das Neves having to interfere. A collision led to Sagui MZ getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Raimundo Leão hit a great ball. Ibaretama's Ramiro Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Soares in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ibaretama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sagui MZ.
