The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Orlando Mumbach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiro Garcia was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 6thth minute of the game Orlando Mumbach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibaretama's Ramiro Garcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramiro Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Mumbach in the 9th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Campeche Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Doni Saraiva. 20 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme Vinhas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilvan Campidelis. Luiz Guilherme Vinhas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Campeche Futbol Club's Gilvan Campidelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Campeche Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. In the 25th match minute, Ibaretama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luan Netto to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Pedro Augusto Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Vicente Tepedino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro Garcia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ramiro Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Mumbach in the 29th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Orlando Mumbach put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ramiro Garcia. Campeche Futbol Club's Orlando Mumbach got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Telmo Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ramiro Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Guilherme Vinhas was the one to do the kick off. Ramiro Garcia came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Campeche Futbol Club's Delfim Leal. But to his dismay, Delfim Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Orlando Mumbach's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Ramiro Garcia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Orlando Mumbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campeche Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Mumbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The long shot by Digo Costa in the 63rd minute really tested Ramiro Garcia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Ibaretama's Artur Magalhães got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Orlando Mumbach came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Campeche Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Mumbach couldn't finish the play. Orlando Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Ibaretama's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Mumbach came free, but Ramiro Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibaretama's goalkeeper Ramiro Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luiz Guilherme Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Luiz Guilherme Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ibaretama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Guilherme Vinhas couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilvan Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Leopoldo Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gilvan Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play Ibaretama's Luan Netto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 90th match minute, Ibaretama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luan Netto to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Tepedino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramiro Garcia. Ibaretama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 94th minute, Telmo Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramiro Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Mumbach's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Mumbach in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Garcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Campeche Futbol Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Campeche Futbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
