Gilson Barral scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Massa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Daniel Massa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavalaria FC's goalkeeper João Carlos Tróia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Hudson Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vodkinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hudson Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hudson Paes was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jairo Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vodkinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Carlos Tróia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hudson Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Vodkinha FC played a much better game than Cavalaria FC and deserved their victory. The Cavalaria FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
