Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio Matos in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorian Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Júlio Matos might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorian Loureiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osmar Tasso's late challenge caught a South Hofler C.E's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osmar Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Osmar Tasso hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Racing Club had played much better football throughout.
