Spectators: 7377 (Terracing: 5534, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Attilio Berardo kicked off to start the match. Frank Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Ibiam getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Attilio Berardo hit a great ball. Gildo das Neves hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Fernan Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Branco in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match, Attilio Berardo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frank Cavalcante was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 36 minutes into the game, Robinho de Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SANTOS F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibiam the free kick. After 36 played minutes SANTOS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Robinho de Amorim. Álvaro da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandrinho Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Cavalcante having to interfere. Fernan Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Branco in the 44th minute of play. The referee gave SANTOS F.C a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Oséias Leão, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ibiam's Fernan Rodriguez. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Leme to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SANTOS F.C's goalkeeper Frank Cavalcante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernan Rodriguez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Didi Baiano went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 60th minute, Sandrinho Valadares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Ibiam's Fernan Rodriguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ibiam from getting a goal against them. Frank Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Berardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. SANTOS F.C's Frank Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro da Silveira in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Ibiam booed when SANTOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didi Baiano took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernan Rodriguez. Fernan Rodriguez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. After some careless play in the SANTOS F.C defense, Sandrinho Valadares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Cavalcante. The SANTOS F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Cavalcante should have stopped the shot. Attilio Berardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Frank Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Attilio Berardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibiam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attilio Berardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ibiam had played much better football throughout.
