Jorginho Coutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorginho Coutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Monte Cristo FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Coutinho. In the 12th minute Cacá Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Chaime saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Severino Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josué Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cacá Luz in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Chaime saved Monte Cristo FC from getting behind. Cacá Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Fernão Tróia hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Cacá Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Companhia's Dalmo Marques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Chaime narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Thomás Tavares made the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Thomás Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Companhia's Josué Jacinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Companhia booed when Monte Cristo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomás Tavares in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josué Jacinto saved Companhia from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Cernea in the 69th minute of play forced Companhia's goalkeeper Josué Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Chaime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Monte Cristo FC's Aurelio Chaime proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Monte Cristo FC from getting a goal against them. Companhia's Hílton Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, Cacá Luz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aurelio Chaime was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cacá Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Aurelio Chaime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Chaime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Melo in the 94th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Monte Cristo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Companhia were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Monte Cristo FC's much stronger midfield.
