Álvaro da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Sandrinho Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Romero having to interfere. Durvalino Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durvalino Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ibiam booed when Aventureio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Aventureio's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro da Silveira came free, but José Paulo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Álvaro da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibiam's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro da Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Paulo Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ibiam fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Álvaro da Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Paulo Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Álvaro da Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Aventureio's José Paulo Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Berardo in the 47th minute of play. José Paulo Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Attilio Berardo's shot from short distance in the 49th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 55 played minutes Ibiam got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Carneiro. In the 56th minute of the match Erasmo Dias sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernan Rodriguez skillfully saved the ball. Sandrinho Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. José Paulo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Cesinha Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Túlio Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Mateus Perez struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Aventureio's zone, Attilio Berardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Paulo Romero came out of the goal and Attilio Berardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dráusio Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Paulo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Valadares in the 77th minute of play. José Paulo Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Attilio Berardo went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Attilio Berardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Romero having to interfere. Dráusio Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Ibiam's Dráusio Vargas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Paulo Romero. That made the score 1-4 after 88 minutes of play. 92 minutes into the game, Dráusio Vargas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Paulo Romero. Dráusio Vargas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Dráusio Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. José Paulo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ibiam played a much better game than Aventureio and deserved their victory. The Aventureio players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
