Gilson Barral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josué Jacinto having to make a save. Josué Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedito Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josué Jacinto made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Gilson Barral sent off a good shot on target. Benedito Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Jacinto having to interfere. João Paulo das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Hílton Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Companhia's Josué Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Companhia from getting a goal against them. Benedito Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedito Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Jacinto having to interfere. Hílton Melo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Carlos Tróia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Benedito Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedito Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Josué Jacinto made a huge save. João Carlos Tróia came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Companhia's Cacá Luz. But to his dismay, Cacá Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Companhia getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dalmo Marques hit a great ball. João Carlos Tróia came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Companhia's Cacá Luz. But to his dismay, Cacá Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

João Carlos Tróia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cacá Luz in the 52nd minute. Josué Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Domingues in the 54th minute of play. A hard shot 56 in the game by Cacá Luz from a close distance when the talented João Carlos Tróia managed to make a qualified save. Cavalaria FC's players were relieved. Gilson Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Jacinto having to interfere. When Aírton Arantes fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Companhia's protests and gave Aírton Arantes a yellow card for diving instead. Gilson Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Jacinto having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Benedito Domingues made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Companhia's Josué Jacinto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th match minute, Companhia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Salles to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes, Cavalaria FC's João Paulo das Neves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Josué Jacinto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cavalaria FC reached it. Companhia's Josué Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Domingues in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute Benedito Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Companhia's Aírton Arantes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Benedito Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Companhia got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo Marques. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
