Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudinei Toscano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cacá Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Magalhães having to interfere. Tales Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hílton Melo's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Tales Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cacá Luz in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Paraná SUL's Afonso Esteves got a free kick in the 16th minute. Walmyr Valadares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tales Magalhães. Paraná SUL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 18 minutes of play Paraná SUL's Afonso Esteves was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 20th match minute, Paraná SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Toscano to maneuver through the defense. Companhia's Walmyr Valadares shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tales Magalhães but with some difficulty. Tales Magalhães was a little too slow when Hílton Melo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Cacá Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Companhia's supporters rose to their feet, but Cacá Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tales Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute Hílton Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hílton Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tales Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cacá Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Companhia's Dalmo Marques dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hílton Melo to make the kick off. Hílton Melo scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tales Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th match minute, Companhia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Hílton Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Melo in the 65th minute of play forced Paraná SUL's goalkeeper Tales Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Companhia's Hílton Melo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tales Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hílton Melo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tales Magalhães having to make a save. Claudinei Toscano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Cacá Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Companhia's supporters rose to their feet, but Cacá Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tales Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Paraná SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Melo came free, but Tales Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Paraná SUL's zone, Cacá Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Magalhães came out of the goal and Cacá Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Hílton Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraná SUL's Tales Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Companhia had won after a very even match.
