Vodkinha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hudson Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When David Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club's protests and gave David Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vodkinha FC booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Racing Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vodkinha FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
