Basílio Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute, Silas Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aventureio's Erasmo Dias couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT. Basílio Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Aguiar in the 24th minute of play. After 24 played minutes AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT got a freekick which was hit by André Loureiro. A collision led to AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. André Loureiro hit a great ball. Basílio Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basílio Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Perez in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT's Erivaldo Tavares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Paulo Romero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mateus Perez to make the kick off. AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT's Basílio Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Perez in the 53rd minute of play. When Mateus Perez came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Aventureio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateus Perez couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT's Silas Alves got a free kick in the 57th minute. Marquinhos Matorin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Dênis Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aventureio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dênis Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wágner Loureiro charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wágner Loureiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Aventureio booed when AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Koehler in the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the game, Dênis Aguiar landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 75 minutes into the game, Benê Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aventureio the free kick. The supporters of AMERICA JUNIORS F.C. - MT booed when Aventureio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durvalino Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Luiz Guilherme Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Loureiro scored 4-1 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Paulo Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aventureio's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
