Dedê Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ciro Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inajá FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Meireles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovanni Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6 minutes into the match, Inajá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Alvarenga came free, but Otávio Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Inajá FC's Joélson Arruda got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Josué Alvarenga notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Inajá FC's Otávio Soares. Otávio Soares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reginaldo Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Geovanni Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Inajá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Alvarenga came free, but Otávio Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Reginaldo Galvão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inajá FC and the Pink players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reginaldo Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Patrick Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otávio Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Pink's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Fábio Passos in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Josué Alvarenga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otávio Soares. Inajá FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josué Alvarenga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 35th minute, Josué Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pink fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Dedê Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Soares having to interfere. Humberto Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Otávio Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joélson Arruda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Humberto Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Josué Alvarenga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otávio Soares was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josué Alvarenga in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Soares saved Inajá FC from getting behind. In the last second Otávio Soares throw himself and got hold of the ball when Josué Alvarenga in the 66thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 0-8 became the score in the 68th minute when Josué Alvarenga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
