Leopoldo Varela hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Wilian Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Amílton Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílton Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleiton Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilian Koehler was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Zart Futebol Clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cleiton Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvério Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 34 minutes of play, SOLANO STAR's Fábio Amaral made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antônio Carlos Paranaense was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Wilian Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleiton Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Amílton Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvério Vidal took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antônio Carlos Paranaense. Antônio Carlos Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleiton Fantini to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Sandrinho Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute of the match Pedrão Diniz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amílton Neves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SOLANO STAR's Albertinho do Vale got a free kick in the 58th minute. Amílton Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilian Koehler's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Silvério Vidal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antônio Carlos Paranaense having to make a save. 65 minutes into the match, Zart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Amaral came free, but Antônio Carlos Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Carlos Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. SOLANO STAR's Silvério Vidal came free and shot a quick shot against goal 73 minutes in the game, fortunately Antônio Carlos Paranaense had problems saving as it came toward the left post. With a little luck, Zart Futebol Clube's Antônio Carlos Paranaense got control of the ball when Silvério Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Zart Futebol Clube booed when SOLANO STAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Zart Futebol Clube's Pedrão Diniz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 83rd minute, Telmo Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Fábio Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. SOLANO STAR's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio Carlos Paranaense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
