Tadeu Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match Davi Moreno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clemente Faria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Geovanni Vides scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Faria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Maquinaria Futebol Clube's Juan Madureira got control of the ball when Leonel Tróia tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivo Marquez in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Madureira saved Maquinaria Futebol Clube from getting behind. Clemente Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanni Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Faria having to interfere. Clemente Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri de Souza in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Maquinaria Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Pedro Furlan hit a great ball. With his leg Juan Madureira managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Virtus Pro's Leonel Tróia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After the first half Maquinaria Futebol Clube were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivo Marquez to strike the kick off in the second half. When Zé Pedro Munhoz fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maquinaria Futebol Clube's protests and gave Zé Pedro Munhoz a yellow card for diving instead. After 50 played minutes Maquinaria Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Munhoz. After a defensive mix-up in Maquinaria Futebol Clube's zone, Ivo Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Madureira came out of the goal and Ivo Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Virtus Pro's Clemente Faria got control of the ball when Amauri de Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Léo Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Geovanni Vides took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Clemente Faria to make any attempt to save it. Geovanni Vides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovanni Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amauri de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovanni Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Clemente Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Virtus Pro's Léo Guedes got a free kick in the 89th minute. Clemente Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Vides in the 90th minute of the match.
