An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Dionísio in the 16th minute of play forced Jacareacanga's goalkeeper Léo Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virtus Pro's Clemente Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Rosado in the 19th minute of play. Clemente Faria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Pernambucano went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jacareacanga's Orlando Pernambucano got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clemente Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Pernambucano in the 35th minute of play. Guilherme Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Faria having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Léo Guedes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virtus Pro and the Jacareacanga players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Virtus Pro got a freekick which was hit by Léo Guedes. The audience was convinced that Orlando Pernambucano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Faria was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Orlando Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Clemente Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Clemente Faria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacareacanga's Orlando Pernambucano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clemente Faria. That made the score 1-3 after 70 minutes of play. 78 minutes into the match, Jacareacanga's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Marquez came free, but Léo Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Orlando Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Clemente Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Pernambucano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Faria having to make a save. In the 92nd minute, Orlando Pernambucano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Faria was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. When the final whistle sounded Jacareacanga left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Virtus Pro.
