Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Joélson Arruda started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Jacareacanga getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Haroldo do Vale hit a great ball. Jacareacanga's Orlando Pernambucano got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otávio Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Pernambucano went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Reginaldo Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inajá FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reginaldo Galvão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Léo Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cleiton Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Otávio Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Orlando Pernambucano made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Inajá FC's Otávio Soares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Orlando Pernambucano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Otávio Soares having to make a save. When Jacareacanga's Orlando Pernambucano in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inajá FC's goalie prevented a goal. 28 minutes into the game, Haroldo do Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Otávio Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Inajá FC's Otávio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo do Vale in the 34th minute of play. Orlando Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Otávio Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Inajá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Galvão to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Inajá FC's Reginaldo Galvão got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Otávio Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Jacareacanga's Orlando Pernambucano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Otávio Soares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Pernambucano to make the kick off. Otávio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Pernambucano in the 52nd minute of the match. Orlando Pernambucano might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Otávio Soares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Pernambucano ran back to his position shaking his head. Anselmo Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Otávio Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Guilherme Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inajá FC's Otávio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Pernambucano in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Inajá FC's zone, Orlando Pernambucano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Soares came out of the goal and Orlando Pernambucano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otávio Soares made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Haroldo do Vale sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Jacareacanga booed when Inajá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Inajá FC's zone, Haroldo do Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Soares came out of the goal and Haroldo do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guilherme Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 played minutes Orlando Pernambucano rounded Inajá FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5.
