Spectators: 7059 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1520, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roger Leme kicked off to start the match. When Roger Leme came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the A. D. CONFIANÇA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Leme couldn't finish the play. Fabiano Antunes came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio dos Canudos EC's João Pedro Pernambucano. But to his dismay, João Pedro Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Frank Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diguinho Paes in the 17th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Roger Leme in the 18th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. João Pedro Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Leme scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Valladares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiago Gabriel Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mário Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Grêmio dos Canudos EC's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Paes came free, but Frank Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A. D. CONFIANÇA's attentive Tiago Gabriel Nogueira managed to snatch the ball when Luizão Negri made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. If Tiago Gabriel Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Raúl Mesquita made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Roger Leme. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Roger Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. A. D. CONFIANÇA's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Valladares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Luiz Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Valladares having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Leme in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Valladares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Roger Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute Raúl Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Luiz Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raúl Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Francisco Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A. D. CONFIANÇA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Roger Leme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank Valladares. Grêmio dos Canudos EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Leme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 87th minute Raúl Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Valladares having to interfere. Roger Leme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Valladares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Frank Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A. D. CONFIANÇA fully deserved thier win.
