Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonardo Mattos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Leonardo Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Arce having to interfere. In the 7th minute Ademir Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademir Figueiredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robinho Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademir Figueiredo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Aquidauananese getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jorginho Campidelis hit a great ball. Robinho Cruz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 18th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luís Eduardo Guedes. Tostão da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Cruz having to interfere. Waldir Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Mattos in the 30th minute of play. Ademir Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Aquidauananese's goalkeeper Robinho Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tostão da Rocha. Jorginho Campidelis hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Ademir Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Aquidauananese got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Pinho. In the 43rd minute, one of Aquidauananese:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aquidauananese. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Arrozeira's Luís Eduardo Guedes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Robinho Cruz. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ademir Figueiredo made the kick off in the second half. Robinho Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademir Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tostão da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wanderson Hoffmann hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Robinho Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Aquidauananese's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Figueiredo came free, but Robinho Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes, Cauã Penha made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Aquidauananese's Robinho Cruz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Robinho Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ademir Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Robinho Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrozeira. Tostão da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robinho Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão da Rocha in the 87th minute of play. When Wanderson Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aquidauananese's protests and gave Wanderson Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. Tostão da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gabriel Mesquita came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Arrozeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Mesquita couldn't finish the play.
