After 27 played minutes Aquidauananese got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Matos. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when A. D. CONFIANÇA's Roger Leme in the 30th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Robinho Cruz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Aquidauananese through an amazing save. If André Luiz Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tiago Gabriel Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the A. D. CONFIANÇA fans jumped to their feet. Raúl Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Cruz having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Mário Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A. D. CONFIANÇA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabiano Antunes made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Vivaldo Batista sent off a good shot on target. Robinho Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Nogueira in the 82nd minute of play. Tiago Gabriel Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Robinho Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A. D. CONFIANÇA. 87 minutes into the game, A. D. CONFIANÇA's Tiago Gabriel Nogueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robinho Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Roger Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raúl Mesquita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robinho Cruz having to make a save.
