In the 14th minute of the match Augusto Cunha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davi Souto skillfully saved the ball. After 15 minutes, Juvenal Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itajara fc and the Sapopema SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sapopema SS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
