Alfredo Vander hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in KuPs KuoPio's zone, Inácio Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Sá came out of the goal and Inácio Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvinho Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. KuPs KuoPio's Moisés Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Chaves in the 12th minute of play. Rafael Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Moisés Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Davi Souto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tony de Godoi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. After 28 played minutes Itajara fc got a freekick which was hit by Mário Brito. In the 33rd minute Jonathan Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Mangueira in the 34th minute of play forced Itajara fc's goalkeeper Davi Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Jonathan Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. KuPs KuoPio's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davi Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tony de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tony de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony de Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Mangueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davi Souto was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvinho Mazza during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Nelsinho Figueiredo fired a really elegant long shot, but Moisés Sá threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After having played for 76 minutes, Rafael Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itajara fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davi Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Itajara fc defense, Jonathan Mangueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davi Souto. The Itajara fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davi Souto should have stopped the shot. Davi Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony de Godoi in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davi Souto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd match minute, Itajara fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Brito to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes in the game, Tony de Godoi dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Davi Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KuPs KuoPio had played much better football throughout.
