When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Macedo made a kick off. Victor do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Souto having to interfere. With a little luck, Itajara fc's Davi Souto got control of the ball when Leandro Travassos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gualter Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to KANGAL FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Durval Bezerra hit a great ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Inácio Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itajara fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the KANGAL FC defense, Rafael Chaves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualter Cearense. The KANGAL FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualter Cearense should have stopped the shot. Davi Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Macedo in the 86th minute of the match. Leonel Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualter Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Brito in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of Itajara fc booed when KANGAL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. KANGAL FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
